Last night I was surfing channels hunting something worth listening to.   Just as I was about to give up and go to bed, I saw Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel.   I did a double take.   My god, he was in one of my favorite restaurants …. Max's Allegheny Tavern on the Norside stuffing a liverwurst (Braunschweiger) sandwich down his throat.     I've been eating there so long that I can remember when one of my favorite waitresses was pregnant and then the night when she told me that that baby had just gotten married!
