[PRCo] CERA 75th Anniversary Convention

That's real nice changing the colors of a "semi historic" transit vehicle to match your local football team.  Then some manufacturer of model trolleys (ConCor) uses your car as an example and we get flooded with PCCs that don't run well and don't look like they are Pittsburgh Cars.  Maybe I should change my destination sign to Kenosha.  In ten years people will be saying that the cars in PTM must have faded in the sun to that creamish color.

Ed,

The "Pittsburgh" PCC is painted red and white. The trolley system manager said the color selection was intentional, in deference to the University of Wisconsin's red/white colors, but there's an authentic PRC logo on the side of the trolley. The Johnstown car's colors are accurate and include the JTC logo on the sides - see attached photo I took of the logo on the "Johnstown" car.    Bob

Thanks for the photos. Kenosha has a nice line. I was there on business a few years back. It seemed under utilized. Beautiful equipment. 
Is the Pittsburg PCC painted red and white and not cream?
