Unsure if any of you knew Larry Kline. He was a member of several historical societies that I was and I expected to see him tomorrow at the Pitt Archives.

> I have very sad news. Larry Kline, one of our long term volunteers, has died. Larry recently had a stent put in, but that had nothing to do with his death, as far as I know. His wife Dana called to give me the news and to get a statement for the obituary about his volunteer work at Lewistown. He had a hemorrhagic stroke sometime yesterday (a blood vessel burst in his brain). He was in his upstairs office at the time and was able to call 911 and Dana’s cell phone. He got downstairs and let in the emergency crew. He died sometime this morning. Dana said the stroke was too severe to survive, and he would have had no quality of life, if he had survived.

> Dana said Larry will be cremated this month. I don’t know whetherthere will be a service at that time. She mentioned that there will be a memorial gathering sometime in May, where his friends will gather at the house to run the trains in his honor. No word on a date at this time.
