Thanks Herb. The Empire Builder is one of my favorite routes. I guess because it goes to one of my favorite national parks. For those of you who poo-poo Amtrak, you should give this train a try. The wine tasting for the sleeper passengers is a great way to spend the afternoon and the scenery is spectacular.

The attached images are of the eastbound Empire Builder coming into Whitefish, Montana (with the yours truly in the shadow) and Marias Pass from the train.
