[PRCo] Anyone know anything about this PRCo trolley?

I had a chance yesterday to try and research this. Really the only detail
about the mail cars comes from a 1983 publication by Lloyd Booth entitled
"The Street Railway Post Offices of Pittsburgh," part of a larger series
covering the nation. It centers on local routings and RPO cancellations,
and says nothing about how the mail was moved from railroad stations to the
General Post Office then on Smithfield Street.

The PRCo roster books list only car M245 as a mail car. This was formerly
Consolidated Traction 901; there was a sister car 900 that apparently
wasn't needed for the purpose after the great consolidation. I became M246
but was not used for mail.

So while the record available shows nothing, I think the photo was a
learning experience... they were certainly towing a trailer full of mail?
sacks somewhere from West Carson Street. It could have been mail from P&LE
headed to the GPO.
