What do I think, Ray.   I wish it was slightly higher in resolution so that it would make a good 8x10 print.    But even so, it made a fair print and it shows the right of way all the way down to Maple St.   

It also shows that the two maps we have, the USGS 7.5 minute map and the older street map of the city do not match perfectly.

The collapse of steel had the same affect on Dravosburg that it did across the river on McKeesport.   The population of Dravosburg dropped from 3,796 in the 1950 census to 1,785 in the 2010 enumeration.   The result?   See that big stone church down on 3rd Street just to the left of the curve in Richland Ave?   It has been leveled.   The white church on 5th Street at the lower left corner of the picture still has a sign up in the most recent Google street picture that says it is St. John at the Cross Lutheran Church … put the board for this Sunday's service is empty and in front of it is a FOR SALE sign.

The bridge over the trolley right-of-way is 1st Street, Dravosburg.   After spending 20 minutes looking at all the houses in the picture and comparing them to the Bing Maps aerial photos, I concluded it was possible to wedge the four-lane access to the new Mansfield Bridge in where the old trolley right-of-way was without tearing down homes.   However, in the intervening years, perhaps half the houses in this picture have disappeared.   

I've managed to waste most of the afternoon….   :<)   Thanks Ray.   It was fun.
