You are not at Kennywood Park, but south of it. The trace shows the line
in Duquesne. From left to right the line crossed the Union Railroad Yard,
then came down Plumb Alley, left on Hamilton and right on Duquesne Way.
This area was entirely rebuilt after the abandonment of Route 68,
including a new bridge over the railroad to replace a wooden trestle.Plumb
Alley was a narrow street with tight double-track; the outbound track was
up against a stone wall. When it rained hard, the wall pushed out,
obstructing the trolleys which went in both directions using the inbound
track and a crossover at one end. At Hamilton, the track became single
before swinging left onto that street, so no crossover was needed there.
