Absolutely.   When you are 15, nobody could possibly be older than your parents.   

Then one day you wake up.   You are 70.   And everyone from 50 to 90 is in your age group.   Right?   

I love to tell the story about a day in 1959 when I was hitchhiking across the Ohio Turnpike (in a military uniform).   An old man picked me up.   He told me a wonderful story about how he had finally figured out what he wanted to do with his life and he was supremely happy.   He was 40.   Of course, when you are 19, a man who is 40 is an old man because that might be the age of your girl friend's father.
