Quoted from website:
Emsworth PA: View a street in Emsworth where Railway Express
wanted to lease the building on the right to store and service
trolley cars. The assignment was for the law firm of Reed,
Smith, Shaw and McClay who was representing Railway Express in
trying to get the local zoning law changed - 1951
Did labels for pictures get shuffled? REA 'service' TrolleyCars? This
seems like a Solution chasing a non-existent problem. What kind of
service -- pull in and out for a quick gas and lube?
Whose TrolleyCars? The handwriting was already visible -- PRCo
ridership was dropping. PRCo coming out of bankruptcy was BROKE. They
did not have money to purchase maintenance contracts. TrolleyCars across
the country were disappearing fast.
MUCH more info needed; this does not make sense. Maybe it is the hour.
