No, it was in the early morning hours of 30 August 1953.
There was also some work equipment operated south of Drake Trestle (north end of which was Ruthfred station) after the abandonment. You are correct that the last passenger cars to operate on it were the four you mentioned, in March 1954.

The last Washington car was 1711 which left Washington on Labor Day 1953.
After that, the only cars south of Drake Trestle were that three museum cars
which ran to Arden and the return car, provided by Pittsburgh Railways,
after 3756, 832 and M-1 had been secured,
