WisDOT has developed a draft of its long-range transportation plan for
the state of Wisconsin, called Connections 2030. This plan addresses 
all forms of transportation over a 20-year planning horizon: 
highways, local roads, air, water, rail, bicycle, pedestrian and 
transit. The overall goal of the planning process is to identify a 
series of policies to aid transportation decision-makers when 
evaluating programs and projects.


WisDOT will accept public comments on the draft plan

through February 27, 2009. The Web site will be updated often, so 
check back regularly for plan updates, public input opportunities, 
and other plan-related information.

WisDOT has scheduled a series of public meetings

in numerous locations throughout the state. All meetings will be held
from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
