-the map of the Bryn Mawr area on p. 146 doesn't show the trackage that
continued down Lincoln Way to 5th Avenue, even though p. 132 mentions the
installation of this track. Well, if you know what you're looking for.
See, the map on p. 146 mentions "Lincoln Way" while the whole Pittsburgh &
Westmoreland section (pp. 128-132) calls it only "the State Road".
-the proposed line to Trafford from Wilmerding on the south side of the
creek that had already been surveyed (p. 16) must have gone out Wall
Avenue through Wall, but where it crossed the railroad (the old Mosside
Bridge? The South Trafford underpass?) I don't know.
-the author suggests a 56/68 loop route on p. 71 (much like 10/15) in
answer to McKeesport's desires to have tracks off the loop of Sinclair,
Sixth, Locust and Fifth. Thing is, after noting there would be no place
for layover in one plan he forgets his plan has the same problem: some
amount of layover is required for "schedule recovery", so if a car gets
behind, it's not still behind when it changes routes.
