I live in Chicago, but expect to be in Pittsburgh next month, and will
stop by the Museum.
Although an item of minutiae, the derail was always of interest to me
because my grandfather was born in 1890 in the house across the street
from where it was located. The derial is gone, but the house is still
there. He often talked about the Spring Hill line, the OLD 16th Bridge,
and the installation of the derail after a runaway trolley incident.
