5-1-07    Route established from Chestnut & Ohio to Rhine at Buente
1-3-27    Extended to city via 9th Street Bridge
8-18-38    Rerouted to 16th Street Bridge
4-10-46    Loop opened
10-5-57    Last day of rail service

Can't tell about the passing track without a huge amount of research, and
even then the answer is not guaranteed to be there!  I simply do not have
the time to dredge up this minutiae as things are presently structured.  If
Bob is in the area, though, I can tell him which books to look in!  We
probably wouldn't have any detail on the derail in any event.
