Yes - if your PTM calendar for 1991 was opened to April you would
be looking at 1699 making the turn you described. Chestnut was wall to
wall streetcar - no parking on this street! The 1 and 5 lines shared this
trackage and coming outbound the cars joined the inbound track and
continued the turn directly onto Spring Garden where it returned to double
track again. Fascinating intersection!
