Greetings!

Howdy everyone!

Thought that I'd introduce myself.  I'm Charles Brown (everyone calls me
Charlie) and live in Long Beach, California, where I drive a bus for the
local bus company.  I've never been to Pittsburgh and know virtually
nothing about the PR system.  But ever since buying that Transit Gloria
Mundi tape on the South Side lines I've developed an interest in it.
That interest has been greatly fueled by discussions on another list by
some of your members (I won't mention names as I don't want to embarrass
Ken, Jim or Don).  

Since my knowledge is limited at best, I plan to be more of a spectator
than a participant.  Thanks to the PTM bookstore and the generousity of
JIm Holland (who you can blame for my being here), I should know more
about Pittsburgh's system shortly.  As I've mentioned to others,
Pittsburgh has got to be the least written about system around.  What're
you guys hiding? :-)

My other interests include trolley coaches, trolley freight, and
preservation.  I've heard great things about the PTM publication and
plan to join them shortly.

Well, that's about it.  Looking forward to getting to know all of you.
