Restructuring the list (Was: digital topo maps ....)

Greetings,
I like the idea of merging PRCo, JTC, and WP lists into one which would
include the two Butler interurbans (and maybe the local stuff in Beaver which
had low-floor cars of the PRCo design).
When I mentioned Harrisburg before, I was thinking of that as a
secondary list on PA, not to be included in any of the above. Harrisburg,
Scranton, Altoona, Erie, etc for something like *small-town-PA* list. I did not
make that clear.
Actually, looking at the 1924 map on page 46, *PA Street Railways* Ben
Rohrbeck, four geographic areas do stand out:
1)--Southwest - Pgh, Johnstown, Altoona, Greensburg, Fairchance, Butler,
New Castle, Sharon, Punxsutawney and a few Misc.
2)--Northwest - Erie, Meadville, Edinboro, Linesville, Oil City,
Sheffield, Bradford the latter two interstate with New York.
3)--Northeast - Pottsville, Centralia, Shamokin, Lewisburg, Williamsport
Montrose, Forest City, Carbondale, Scranton, Pittston, & Misc.
4)--Southeast - Philly, West Chester, Lancaster, Littlestown, Carlisle,
Harrisburg, Lebanon, Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton,
Portland, Stroudsburg & Misc.
We don't have heavy volume on any of the three lists currently. Merging
the three and including all of Southwest PA would not generate additional volume
- I know nothing of Altoona and Beaver so won't be able to contribute. Doubt if
we would get much in the way of contributions on anything outside of the Big
three anyhow - tis enough trying to stir up contributions on the three!!
