A PA traction list is too all-encompassing? <<
Here's my ten cents' worth:
There is so much duplication of membership in your three lists, and so much
opportunity for cross-pollination, that I'd like to see them merged into
one. And if that were to expand to include the Butler lines, perhaps Beaver
County, Okay by me. After all, the West Penn empire extended into Ohio, and
Marietta is a lot farther from Pittsburgh than is Beaver Falls.
I shouldn't think that Ed would object, since most of this is up his alley
as well.
Altoona? Maybe.
Harrisburg? Wellll...... Then you would have to include Cumberland County,
and of course Chambersburg. And how could you deal with Harrisburg and
exclude Hershey Transit ... and Conestoga Traction? And that puts you at
the gates of Chester County and within hailing distance of the Red Arrow.
Perhaps better to stop at Cambria County and stay in Ohio River drainage.
IMHO, of course. ;-)
