That's an understatement! Looks like PRCo gave 1690 a repainting into
the "Half-n-a-Half-n-a" paint scheme not long before it was gobbled up
by ({[PAT]})!
I also particularly like the shot of 1689 uphill on the 21 as it really
gives excellent perspective concerning the grades. Additionally, I
noticed that a cover was placed on the roof vent for winter. Seems all
divisions of PRCo did this except South Hills. But the car was probably
operating from South Hills under ({[PAT]}). And 1678 looks like it was
a little tipsy when she applied the lipstick!
I also explored more of the website looking for electric properties
even under the Misc headings and found an interesting shot of your for
Yakima, the Toledo Edison and its bent pole, and the Oshand, Ontario
freight motor.
I took a look at some of the railroad photos because of the date (the
older the better) and particularly liked *Nevada Northern in Ely steam
1939* for that reason and because I have been through Ely. While
certain areas may not appeal to various people, I can always appreciate
the beauty of a region and Nevada has some striking beauty of its own.
I also pulled up this photo of yours because of the location in
Jamestown (http://gelwood.railfan.net/other/misc/sier-s38.jpg) *2-6-6-2
38 Jamestown CA - 7/16/54 {Bob Rathke Collection}.* While the photo was
loading I thought it couldn't possibly be a 2-6-6-2, but it sure was!
I was also impressed with the variety of roster information offered for
the different railroads and even models in various scales for some RRs.
Is this where you plan to post a detailed roster of PRCo equipment?!?!?!
