Jim,
I'm not sure if the locations and dates have been added to the Light Rail
System page yet, but the photo of 1690 was taken in Feb., 1966 a couple
of months before Fineview was abandoned. The night photo of 1678 was
taken at the Charles St. layover; this was the last car on the line on
4-30-66, buy this website view is of its second-last trip on Fineview.
The two PCC photos on Spring Hill were taken in 1957; the double-end car
was photographed in April, 1946 as the loop was being constrcted in the
background; the photo of the PCC in the loop is the last car on Spring
Hill in October, 1957.
There are a number of my photos of electric freight motors (Iowa
Terminal, Toledo Edison, Sacramento Northern, Mason City & Clear Lake,
etc.) on the website - the best way to find them is to scroll down the
home page to the "New" section, and look in the summary pages that were
uploaded in October. See if you can find the freight motor with the
trolley pole having at least 3 sharp bends in it!
