Charleroi Car Barn

Southbound cars could easily turned on a loop outside the building.
Northbound cars could, at least theoretically, be backed through this
process, but it would have required work.

Subject: Charleroi Car Barn

Greetings!

Was there a way to turn cars around at the Charleroi Car Barn? Some of
the interurbans were stored there overnight after their late night runs
ended. While some of them pulled out toward Pittsburgh from the Car
House, did any pull out toward Roscoe first and if so, how did they turn
around?
I know that it was possible to do this at Tylerdale but it involved
considerable backing.
