Where was the loop located? Have looked hard at the few pictures I
have and can't find evidence of a loop. I presume the south end of the
building.
For the Washington line there is no evidence of cars terminating at
Tylerdale on a southbound run and no evidence of beginning the
northbound trip from there (according to the 1950 schedule). So I
assume the cars were backed thru the crossover and then backed over the
loop around the Car House. The next morning the car would be backed
onto the siding so they could head south into Washington to begin their
trip.
