Folks:

Another Mom story.

My Grandparents, who didn't own a car so depended on PRCo to get around,
were on their way home one day about 1929 or 30 when the car jumped the
tracks at a switch above the tunnel car barn.  A large tree was the only
thing that prevented the car from tumbling down the hill.

Grandma's back was never the same after that, it always bothered her.  But,
as poor people did back then, she lived with it.  When the PRCo men is dark
suits showed up my Grandparents were intimidated into signing papers
clearing the company.  What else were they to do, they couldn't afford a
lawyer.  And they were even ON the car at the time of the accident...
