Charters of *--> REAL <--* Trolleycars

Jim,

Is 9/10/60 the right date for this NMRA fantrip on 3487?  There was a big
NMRA fantrip in August, 1958 during the national convention in
Pittsburgh.  It ran on a Saturday night, included a ride on the Mt.
Oliver Incline (the one with curved track), and a stop on Grandview Ave. 
 The event used a PCC from each number series between 1000 and 1700, plus
the 3487 and several other old cars.  The trip was a secret until the
NMRA members left the banquet at the William Penn Hotel (Rege Cordic was
the guest speaker), and went outside to find 10+ trolleys lined up on
Grant St. waiting for them.  The cars were all available for inspection
and photography the next day (Sunday) at Tunnel Car House.  I was on this
trip, and sent a copy of the 1958 flyer to Ed Lybarger last year.
