And as I thought about this farther, the presence of an NC sign might not have
been deemed adequate by PRC in places where a motorman could find himself
trapped before he could see an opposing car.  I will not eliminate the
possibility that PRC also used Nachod signals at some NC intersections where
the second car would not be visible before it pulled out and blocked the curve.
