I'm definitely NOT an expert on the mechanics of the PCC, or the
standard cars. But as the common man on the street who sees what lasts
and what doesn't, these cars have lasted a LONG time. What kind of
diesel or motorized vehicle has out-lasted these wonders? Built well to
last into the next century...
