	Yes - I stand against that kind of rumor as well [holes in the floor to
drop sand].  I wouldn't believe [that one] if you did get 3-independent
operators to confirm!
	That is why I spoke about against exorbitant speed of PCC cars - and
was even chastised by people on this very list for so doing - people who
know better themselves.  With the internet, the spread of these rumors
can really be rampant.  People on the net tell local clubs and people
and it snowballs from there.  The PCC was an excellent piece of
equipment for its day - not perfect, but extremely good - but grossly
exaggerating the claims about performance does not make it better!
