Rebuilt 1600 series PCC cars

Greetings!

	Yes - I was very pleasantly awed when I rode 1776--ex--1616 the first
time before dawn.  Never saw the outside but the inside was absolutely
fantastic.  That's when I looked at the outside.
	ALL  the overhauls were extremely good - 17s and 16s.  Just wish you
had more equipment to work with in those days.
	May have more questions later!

	The March 5, 1975, Transit Operations Division Fact Sheet No.-8 lists
the Extra Special Car as 1784--ex--1603.

	Again, I was extremely pleased with all the cars overhauled.  And while
I prefer the original PRCo paint, I can definitely see the PR appeal . .
. and it worked for the public often knew its cars by number and name
and they never knew anything about the numbers before that!
