Greetings....

You're right, Jim. COUNT THE WINDOWS!
The #3556 was an 'only child' hybrid, and listed as a low floor Int. The
headlamp helps to evidence the Int. part. The 3556 IS some 6' longer
than the 4800 series.The additional window count confirms that aspect,
You have to admit to a striking resemblence between the 3556 and the
4800's which apparently used the same, but shorter, design parameters.
Oddly enough the 4800 - 4939 series was made by three different
companies: Osgood Bradley, Pressed Sreel Car, and St. Louis Car.
