Amusement Parks and West View Park

See what time can do to the old memory bank? You are correct, Fred, now
that I rewound and reviewed the route.in my minds eye. We did make a
right turn off Federal onto E. Ohio and on over about four blocks to
East St.
I remember seeing St Boniface Church on the right as we headed out East
St.

Must've been concentrating a bit much on that stretch of ROW located a
short hop up around the bend from the Perry Movie Theatre, and not
thinking how we got to that location. The East Street route would've
been a more direct approach to the Park.... a straight shot with a mild
up-grade outbound.

On the other hand, Federal Street to Perrysville Avenue, (Route 19), is
still the twisting turning road it was in the 50's with more of a
demanding grade for a group of charters. Although it's not out of the
question that charters could have used the Perrysville route, it makes
better sense to have used East Street to Rt.19, (Perry Theatre
intersection), then on out to Keating and the Park.

>From what I've been able to pick up since joining this list, we all seem
to appreciate accuracy regardless of the topic. So, thanks for bringing
this up.
