Yes, Jim,
SP Daylight red. I ooopsed.
I am not great with colors. Suppose that (and talent) are why I never
became an artist or a decorator. But (and this is just subjective) I felt,
as I looked at the 2 reds against the cream, that signal red was both
brighter and deeper -- newer. And that SP daylight was lighter, less
vibrant -- older.
Interestingly, test swatches comparing the 2 reds appear different than
test patches comparing the reds against the cream.
Bob Deitrich's post indicates he's going to use the Polly S line -- cat's
whisker yellow (cream) and signal red and then weather with grime,
brighter red patches, more grime, and some rust. I anxiously await his
results and evaluation.
