Geez whiz, Ken, if we knew what it looked like we wouldn't need a photo
of it. :-)
The reason Bob and I are interested in this car is that one of our
favorite workcars is tower car M212 which is pictured in Tom Parkinson's
book. M211 had a similar history and we're curious as to whether or not
it bore a resemblence to M212. M211 was built in 1926 at Manchester
shops from #3537 and was scrapped at Ingram in 1940. M212 was built in
1930 at the Tunnel carhouse from #3546 and was scrapped in 1955. Mr.
Schneider has a blueprint for M212 which makes us believe that M211 was
somewhat different. Still, we'd like photographic or some other
evidence of this.
