G'day again,
Speaking of gauges, Railroads in my state of Victoria and South Australia we
built to the Irish gauge of 5'3" (almost qualifies as Pennsylvania standard
gauge huh??), our streetcars are 4'81/2" but the Victorian Railways had a
streetcar line from St.Kilda railroad station to Brighton Beach til 1959,
the wheel (pardon the pun) has sort of turn the full circle as the railroad
line to St Kilda was converted to LRT in 1987 and I trained a good portion
of the staff on it.
Greg (or Gerg as we are down under and if you look at it in reverse upside
down and inside out...what???)
