Good Morning!!
Should have qualified the following -- the only 4200--4249 series
still operating into 1950; all the cars in the 4250--4299 series were
scrapped by 1942 at the very latest.

Here are the 4000--4079 and 4100--4149 cars remaining into the

4101 M453 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940
4107 M452 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940 NOTE:::
Orig. 4100 scrapped 1940.09.26. Orig 4107 then
renumbered to 4100; CV to M452 1-month later.
4115 M454 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940
4116 M455 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940
4126 M456 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940
4128 M457 -- CV Snow Scraper 11--1940

Cars 4124 and 4133 were damaged in a fire at Manchester; they were both
sold to Copperweld Steel Co., possibly for scrap -- no date given.
The rest of the 40s and 41s were scrapped by 1940 at the latest!!
