Most interurbans were 52'+ in length and therefore not particularly
suited for use on many city lines because of clearance problems. The
remaining 3700's and 3800's were scrapped in early 1952. The
remaining 3750's lasted maybe a year or two longer.

Subject: [PRCo] Pittsburgh's Pre-PCC Interurbans
Did PRwyCo give any thought to retaining some of their last pre-PCC
interurbans and converting them to work equipment? When were these cars
scrapped? Ken J.
