	This just in from Tom Phillips  --  another angle that most
definitely needs to be considered:::::::

Jlm -- 
	(This message (sent Sun 12/2/01 1:17 AM) came back today as being
undeliverable -- I am still having problems reaching the group.)

	Most interurbans were 52'+ in length and w/o tapered ends --
therefore not particularly suited for use on many city lines
because of clearance problems.  The remaining 3700's and 3800's
were scrapped in early 1952.  The remaining 3750's lasted maybe a
year or two longer.
