Couldn't have put any of this better, John. I tried to get Jim off this
with some early comments which, paraphrased to save space, added up to
baloney,. but the suggestion wasn't taken well. The SLCC PCC orders (and
others as well) are fully documented in From Horsecars to Streamliners" by
Alan R Lind's book on SLCC. De Nada for BTC after Order 1601, that's
nothing in English. No Baltimore car. The 1600 was order 1646A, separated
from the original order 1646 when Pittsburgh agreed to the demo
all-electric.
Guess everyone is cranky today.
