Cripes! I see what all of you were talking about! What the heck did the guy do to 1485's trolley pole as shown in the North Side video? It almost looks like how things would have evolved had the troller been perfected. :-)

Incidently, as beat up as Pittsburgh's PCCs became, I've seen some late '50s and early '60s shots of Baltimore's Pullmans. And some of those looked as bad, if not worse.

Incidently, that car stop sign on eBay sold for over $150.00.

Speaking of car stop signs, I have a picture of one (along Route 85) hanging from the feeder cable. I believe Dave Mewhinney has that one posted on his site. Now here's my question:

Were there any locations in Pittsburgh where car stop disks were actually mounted to a pole or shelter in the manner other systems used? Ken J.
