Richard DeArmond says that the trolley bus demonstration in Pittsburgh occurred
from September 28 to October 11, 1936; Pittsburgh took another look at TCs in 1949,
but there's no indication of a demnstration in that year. (Could the 1936
demonstation have been an attempt to steal some business from PRC's planned
purchase of PCCs?)

The 1936 TC route was eastbound on Liberty, westbound on Grant, northbound on 7th
Avenue, and then to Liberty (via Smithfield?).

Richard's trolley bus website has three photos of the 1936 demonstation line,
including a photo of the TC beside a PRC trolley. See:

PS - Someone mentioned the feeder cables along the street and noted that in the far
right corner of the photo, they angle to the left. I believe this cable angle
follows the turn around the sharp curve from Liberty (eastbound) to Grant
(westbound). Take another look.
