Possibly! These 3-pictures are the same ones I have - Richard either
got the scans from me or off ABPR where I posted them; one of the photos
also appears in my section on Pittsburgh on Dave's trolleycar pix.
Photo #1 is a head on of the TC with a 48-line double ender inbound on
Grant. Interesting, isn't it? Route for 48-line must have been
different in those days!! Think this one is on Daves site with a
warning beside it that a bus is next!!
Photo #2 is the same one we have been discussing.
Photo #3 is on Grant making the turn into 7th.

There are at least 2-other DEMON--strations of TCs in Pittsburgh:

1)--1946 with CTA--#292--TC on display at Westinghouse along with PRCo
PCC 1600 up high so the underbody gear and trucks would be readily
visible. Have a photo which shows these two together.

2)--1949--1950, again at the Westinghouse Facility. San Francisco Muni
Marmon #796 is pictured on a wye built specifically for the TC demo at
the Westinghouse plant. The Destination Sign reads:::
"Family--Day--Special." This appears to be in the flood control area
of the 55-line if I am not mistaken. So this is an operating
DEMON--stration of a TC!
