I have processed more than 100 messages on this list since arriving in my
office at about 9:15 this morning. I last cleaned off my server from home
last evening about 7:15 (and there was a plentitude then, as well). The
fact is that I simply do not have time to look at all this mail, let alone
read it in detail and respond intelligently. Much as I dislike to admit it,
most all of it is now being unceremoniously deleted without my glancing at
it to even see if I can answer something.

I'm going away for two weeks soon. Will there be 1400 messages waiting when
I get back? Or should I just unsubscribe now?

The point, of course, is "Can we get this all back into the realm of
reason?"

Thanks,
Ed
