BOB::	THANKS for the thoughts Concerning the intersection of the
9-Charles St Transfer with Perrysville.
Of course, I checked the PRMA map in addition to the ERA maps of 1946
and 1949 before making my initial observation about the
Charles//Perrysville intersection on line, but the intersection is
difficult to discern. Will have to study them more closely later - much
later!
The intersection would also have to allow for outbound 7-9-line cars to
turn right to make it a real balloon route!

ALSO::	the PTM calendars are super resources for historical information
in both picture and word form.

D2on G indicated that as early as 1950, PRCo had rerouted the 7-line to
loop 6th, Penn, Stanwyx, Fort Duquesne. But I have a photo of 1780 at
the outer terminal displaying 7-Charles & PA Sta. dated 1952.07.06.
This is from Railroad Avenue Enterprizes and while photo dates can be
ambiguous, all their dates have seemed realistic. Do you have any info,
Bob, on when the 7-line dropped the PRR station as its downtown loop?
