Thanks, Fred.  This would explain the rail connecting outbound Perrysville Avenue to
Charles St. - but no overhead wire - as seen in the 8/31/47 photo at
<http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/kjpgh300.htm>.  This track is not shown on
the 1959 PERC map, implying that route 9-Perrysville/Charles may have operated
pre-1920.
