I'm not convince that we can see such a Perrysville Ave. - Charles
Street curve in this picture. Everybody take another look.
I can add this:
My city topographic map (Sheet 46) is dated 1937, and shows
exactly the same track arrangement at this intersection as the
PTM map, i.e. double track through on Perrysville, double-track
curve from route 9 north to Perrysville, curves from route 21 to
Perrysville in both directions. If there was no south-to-west
connection from Perrysville to Charles in 1937, I think it highly
unlikely that there was one in 1947.
