Doesn't matter if it is there or not -- tisn't used today! The
present-day 49-line (52-Allentown??) enters Arlington from the Panhandle
bridge at a point near where the Liberty Bridge passes overhead and
heads up the hill all on double track. It is double track down
Warrington to SHJ.
The old 49-line was single track outbound just a short distance after
leaving Carson Street and returned to double track several hundred feet
before reaching Warrington. Warrington was and is double track.
The old 42-line thru Beechview is the prime (and only) lrv line today
and that portion is double-track street running today as well.
Greg - when you say 'surving lrt lines' it sounds as though there were
many more lrt lines and that they were abandoned!!(:->)
