Check out this picture of the P&LE trolley climbing Carson Street to the
intersection with the Point Bridge.   Note the bend in Carson Street at about
the area where the old Wabash Bridge crosses over.   Is that bend still there?
I ask because, back in the 1980's I noted streetcar tracks in cobblestone, in
the Station Square/Gateway Clipper fleet parking lot and I gathered that Carson
swerved at one time toward the Mon River, and then swerved back again to come up
towards the Point Bridge.  Or, were the old tracks I noticed used for something
else - like unloading and loading of new cars?  I think I saw an old 1910's
photo of a new car being unloaded in that area.
