I always assumed that those track remnants in the Station Square parking lot were
from the P&LE facility.  There was a railroad yard in that area into at least the
early 1970's, and I would often stop by to photograph passenger cars that were
stored or just parked there   It was rather accessible (you didn't get chased out),
and you could often find heavyweight cars from many railroads there.  See

there on 9/26/65.

Earlier photos of the P&LE station, especially when the great trainshed was still in
use, show even more railroad activity in this yard area.
