The baggage rack was still there in early 1960s. It was my favorite 'seat'
for Sunday/Holiday pass riding as a teen. At some point I was told (should
only be considered as hearsay evidence) that motormen seats from 1200s were
the replacement for this baggage rack. Perhaps an old issue of Trolley Fare
from circa 1962/63 might help.
