[PRCo] more (minor) PRCo traces to be eradicated?

Since I was young the areas of private right of way alongside PA130 east
of Wilmerding have been by and large still empty though the tracks and
such have been gone for as long as I can remember and presumably
before.

About 10 years ago, Haymaker Village was constructed in Monroeville on the
right-of-way side of 130 running from Haymaker Road to about 100 feet
outside Trafford, and so that part of the right of way was gone.

About 3 years ago 130 was rebuilt in the Adderly section of Monroeville
(between Pitcairn and Wilmerding) to allow a left turn lane for a new
entrance to the former Chambers landfill. In that area the right of way
ran next to 130 alongside what at one time had been Turtle Creek; However
the creekbed was filled probably during the lifespan of the 62 line and
moved south adjacent to the railroad. In any case the area where the turn
lane was added now has been relandscaped and otherwise modified and it's
too late to document what I thought were visible signs that the line had
been there.

It now appears that the intersection of 130 and PA48 is going to be
modified. Right of way still remains as open space beyond the intersection
on either side but no obvious signs that it had been a rail line, and it's
now unclear if any of that right of way will now be claimed for the
highway; Nothing to really attempt to preserve in photos, though.

Finally, in Wilmerding some time ago I took pictures of the rail which
remained visible on the station side of the viaduct embedded in the
cobblestone street. Part but not the entire width of the trackage has had
an asphalt overlay.

Consider this your silly reminder to "take a picture before it's gone".
