Does it attempt that? I'd assume that frequent re-adjustment of the 
estimates is sufficient. 

Seattle has "Busview," a map showing the locations and directions 
of all buses (or those of chosen routes) within the selected area. 
Data are arriving more or less constantly and the time of the latest 
received position for each bus is shown to the nearest minute. No 
predictions as to the ETA at your stop, and the stops are not wired 
into the system. You have to do your own estimating on your own 
computer. And it's rather a memory hog!
